Meeting between Wuhan No.6 High School’ Mentors and 2019 Postgraduate Interns from CCNU
On the morning of November 22, 2019, the meeting for mentors of Wuhan No.6 High School and 2019 postgraduate interns from CCNU was successfully held in Wuhan No.6 High School. Yang Wen, the leader of English educational research group of Wuhan No.6 High school, teacher Luo Li, Li Yanzi, Chen Wuhua and Zhang Lan, Professor Yan Chunmei, the director of the Center for Foreign Language Teaching and Research of Central China Normal University, Wang Li, tutor of School of foreign languages of CCNU, and five postgraduate students from CCNU participated in the meeting.
First of all, Yang Wen, the leader of English educational research group of Wuhan No.6 High school, warmly welcomed the teachers and students from Central China Normal University and then discussed and arranged the noviciate and internship work of the interns. Yang Wen said that this was an excellent opportunity to combine theory and practice, all English teachers in the Wuhan No.6 High school were willing to participate with the utmost enthusiasm. At the same time, if there was an opportunity, Wuhan No.6 High School was willing to conduct related educational research together with Central China Normal University.
Subsequently, Teacher Wang Li highly praised the rigorous teaching and the serious working attitudes of the internship instructors of Wuhan No.6 High School. She emphasized that interns should cherish this opportunity to take the initiative to learn and consult teachers modestly, and learn more about basic education to make full preparation for the future teaching career by this rare chance.
At last, Professor Yan Chunmei, emphasized in her brief speech the significance of this noviciate and internship to the growth of master students of education and the centre place of professional ethics in teachers’ professional development. She pointed out that basic education and higher education should cooperate closely to train excellent teachers together.
